The Guild has long had the tradition of passing on each generation's knowledge to the next through Mentors. The Mentors are responsible for teaching those that seek entrance to the guild as well as guiding Druids through the Circles and Journeys of the Guild. Those that have proven themselves over many seasons will become Elder Mentors and bearers of the Rose Token. This allows the Mentor to grant roses to hopefuls wishing to join the Guild.
All new Druids are required to go through a mentoring system. Upon entering the guild they may choose anyone from the Elder Mentor or Mentors list. The Mentoring Program allows Druids to become better acquainted with their new powers that were granted to them upon their entrance, and also allows Druids to aptly represent the guild when they are out serving the balance among our peers of the realm.

Mentor Requirements
Once admitted to the Mentor Program, there is a thirty day probationary period. During this time, the druid is expected to report all their mentoring to the Elder Mentors (logs when appropriate) and attempt to Mentor along with another druid whenever possible. The new Mentor will be taught by an Elder Mentor about the program and how to Mentor effectively. Once this probationary period is completed and the Elder Mentors are satisfied, the druid is a complete Mentor.
Mentors are expected to be active participants in the Druid's Guild. Once the probationary period is completed the druid is expected to complete at least one of the following activities every thirty days:
1. Teach a Hopeful
2. Mentor a Novitiate
3. Mentor in a circle above Novitiate
4. Complete work towards a new Circle for themselves
5. Complete a Journey
6. Host a Knowledge Based event on the Boards or in Realm
7. Host a Debate on the Boards or in Realm
Any druid out of their probationary period that is found to be an inactive warning will receive a warning notice in realm. If the druid is unable to complete their requirements after two weeks following the warning the druid is removed from the active mentor list. Druids wishing to take a break may request it before this warning by contacting the Head of Mentors. Once a druid is removed from the mentor list due to inactivity they are elligible at any time to complete the Application to Regain Mentor Status once their situation changes to allow more time for participation.
